BABYMETAL become the youngest female artists to top Oricon Blu-ray Ranking

BABYMETAL latest release "Live At Budokan" is being an incredible success for the band, reaching #1 on iTunes in several countries like United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Austria, Japan, and more, now is making history in Japan on the Oricon Chart, details below.

Three-member metal and dance unit BABYMETAL recently released their first Budokan concert (in March 2014) CD "Live at Budokan ~Red Night~" and came in at 3rd place on the Oricon Album Ranking


This is the first time in 24 years and 7 months that a Japanese female group's live concert album has made it into the top 3 on the album charts since Wink's "Shining Star". 


Furthermore, the concert DVD "Live at Budokan ~Red Night & Black Night Apocalypse~" for the same concert topped the Blu-ray Ranking as well. With an average age of 15 years and 7 months, BABYMETAL become the youngest female artists to achieve this record.
