BABYMETAL winner artist of the "Discovery Of The Year Award" of GQ Japan
BABYMETAL is the winner artists "Discovery Of The Year Award" in the special award of GQ Japan "Men Of The Year 2015" special ceremony held in Tokyo. "Men Of The Year" of GQ Japan Magazine ceremonies take place since 2006 awarding what is special for men and what shows overwhelming success in different areas during the year. BABYMETAL was awarded with the "Discovery Of The Year" special award honring their success and expectations for their upcoming future.
The girls received the award from the hands of GQ Japan editor Masafumi Suzuki, Suzuka Nakamoto Su-Metal in front received the award: "We are very happy to be here today to receive such a nice award. Thank you."
Su-Metal also added that they are very happy for the actual success, they visited around 10 countries this year and won awards in United Kingdom. They are happy to feel that the BABYMETAL music is interesting for overseas audiences. "We are singing in Japanese but also we sang together with the foreing people live. Because they have learned and music goes beyond the boundaries of language." And that is an inspiration for them.
Su-Metal was asked by the moderator of the event what is the ideal female image for them and she showed a paper with: "Be the one and only".
