BABYMETAL was selected along with other important women of 2015 in Japan as "Women Of The Year 2015" by the worldwide famous VOGUE Japan Magazine! Su-Metal, Yuimetal and Moametal attended to the ceremony in Tokyo to receive the award, check the details and photos below.
BABYMETAL VOGUE Japan "Women Of The Year 2015"
BABYMETAL was selected by VOGUE Japan as one of the winners of the "Women Of The Year 2015" because showed an overwhelming success in 2015 and a sparkling beauty and love through the year.
VOGUE Japan announced the winners of "Women Of The Year 2015" for their overwhelmiing success in various fields in the year and the "Rising Star Of The Year 2015" for who worked to be
successful in the future in a ceremony held in Tokyo.
The winners of "Women Of The Year 2015" are: Yoh Yoshida (Actress), Kanako Nishi (Writer), Chitose Abe (Designer), BABYMETAL (Metal Dance Unit), Fukumi Shimura (Dyeing and Weaving Artist), Koharu Sugawara (Dancer), Kanako Watanabe (Swimmer), Suzu Hirose (Actress).
While the winner of "The Rising Star Of The Year 2015" is Maiko Kurogouchi (Designer).
BABYMETAL won the award because of the BABYMETAL World Tour 2015 visiting 10 countries around the world starting in Mexico in May of this year and also because they held their first domestic Tour early in autum the BABYMETAL World Tour 2015 in Japan.
In addition BABYMETAL appearing in renowned Festivals around the world, the three girls rocked with domestic and foreing fans around the world and for that they are one of the "Women Of The Year 2015".
Before the ceremony, Su-Metal, Yuimetal and Moametal arrived in a red Lexus and walked in the red carpet with a smiling expression. In the ceremony Su-Metal received the award in hands from Mitsuko Watanabe the Editor In Chief.
In the speech Su-Metal mentioned that they are really happy receiving the award because will give them more confidence to start a new adventure in the road. And Yuimetal showing a big smile left a comment for the fans: "I want to send the joy towards to those fans in Japan and overseas who are cheering us up now!". In the other hand Moametal said that one should go for the new adventures in the future, just like them that with time were able to stablish a new genre "BABYMETAL"
Also, Su-Metal was asked by the MC of the event: "When you thought that was good to born as woman?", Su-Metal answered: "When there is such a nice award."
