Yui Mizuno as Yuimetal wrote a new diary on Sakura Gakuin to talk about the new BABYMETAL Single "Megitsune". The Single was released including a Music Video (also known as Promotional Video) showing off many details of the Japanese culture. Yui speaks about "Megitsune" and also about her 14th Birthday! Diary translated below.
Yui diary about "Megitsune" release and her 14th Birthday
I'm Yuimetal. Today is the 19th of June it's the release of the new BABYMETAL song 'Megitsune'. The PV for Megitsune was filmed at a ryokan (Japanese-style hotel) and a Noh theater. At the ryokan, in an old building we played ohajiki and otedama, so it looked like a time warp to the Showa era (*1926-1989). At the Noh theater there was the band as well the drums were taiko (Japanese drums) and every possible thing was Japanese-style (Laughs).
Talking about Megitsune. The powerful and adult-like voice of Su-Metal, and Moametal's and Yuimetal's festival-like shouts it's a song with a strong feeling of Japan by all means, please listen to it!
And also, tomorrow is Yui's 14th birthday. wow, I'm already 14 it felt like a moment recently I think only about this (Laughs). During my 13th year y the members, teachers, family, friends, and by all the fukei. I was supported, really a lot, it was really a 'verishuvi' year (really happy).
To all the fukei-san, as a repayment for giving me lots of power I want to send everyone a looooot of power and smiles from now on with gratitude towards everyone around me without forgetting my ideals, I'll give my best with all my efforts! Pease support 14 years old Yui as well.
