BABYMETAL leads Summer Sonic's Official Campain on Twitter
Summer Sonic 2016 announced the final results of the Official Campain on Twitter "The artist that you want to see the most" at Summer Sonic 2016. The campain involved Summer Sonic followers on Twitter using the hashtag #サマソニ and the name of the artists, for example #BABYMETAL. Fans a followers voted several artists from different genres from "Maroon 5" to "Guns N' Roses". But the most voted artists was BABYMETAL.
BABYMETAL played for first time at Summer Sonic in 2012 on August 19 (Show report) as Side-Show, without Kami Band or Babybones. Then and thanks to the great success played again in 2013 (Show reports here and here) this time in Tokyo and Osaka, returns in 2014 once again playing in Tokyo on August 16 and Osaka on August 17 (Show reports here and here) and performed once again in 2015 in their 4th consecutive time at Summer Sonic Tokyo on August 15 and Osaka 16 and August (Reports here and here) at the Mountain Stage.
