BABYMETAL was interviewed by MTV Japan to talk about their performance with Rob Halford of Judas Priest at the Alternative Press Music Awards held in Ohio, United States on July 18. The girls emphasized that was like a dream. Read the article below!
MTV Japan: "BABYMETAL, played with Rob Halford of Judas Priest"
BABYMETAL appeared on July 18 (US Time) in the "AP Music Awards", music award ceremony held in Ohio by the music magazine "Alternative Press", in a special collaboration on stage with Rob Halford "Metal God" vocalist of Judas Priest.
BABYMETAL has been greeted with great cheers, first allowed to showcase "KARATE" backed by Kami Band. Then a video anticipated the collaboration of the Metal God and FOX GOD liven up the excitement of the venue.
The collaboration started with "Painkiller". Halford and Su-Metal sang in a high-tone voice face to face. Followed by "Breaking The Law", Su-Metal calls Yuimetal and Moametal onstage as special guitarists, a collaboration beyond generations was achieved between Halford and BABYMETAL.
In the part of the guitar riffs, Yuimetal and Moametal unfolded a great performance, Su-Metal's singing was as if she had been possessed by the soul of Metal God.
Su-Metal about this collaboration, "I had been admiring Rob very much, I never imagined a collaboration with him after one year we met. Being able to sing for real standing together onstage is like a dream, I was very glad DEATH!"
Moametal said: "I suspect if it was a dream , passed in a blink!", while Yuimetal "After the live was over, he kindly said, 'Let's collaborate longer next time', by all means I want to make it true DEATH!"

and now maybe a European Tour (Germany, Western Europe, Poland) together with Judas Priest? The
big venues will be sold out.

This collab made my day/week/month.
The western purists are weakening and the girls and kami are getting proper credit more and more. its no longer a secret love of them, true metal heads, purists, old timer core metal fans are all embracing babymetal...understanding they will never (and should never) be 100% metal only but their unique fusion thats being soo welcomed as part of this genre.
I noticed a video lately of a metallica concert..and it was spotted in the wings a glimpse of 3 japanese girls watching their preformance. definately them...since they are on tour, there is no way they are stopping to take in concerts without purpose...one can only hope what may be coming is as awesome as we think.
