I have invited the guys over for. tea and cookies. They haven't responded, YET. I want to talk to BOH about the bass mix in the studio albums.. I think it can be improved! BOH is a fantastic player, but you really have to tweak the EQ to hear what he's doing. I want to hear his fingers squeking on the strings. A little bit of fret noise. I thing BOH is being ignored in the mix!

^^you do know that they don't do the studio recording right? Mostly every song has a different set of writers/contributors/players. There have been some appearances by Kami like Leda but surprisingly he recorded bass tracks.

I never really read the liner notes., but yah, I know they switch some people out. (hopefully that stopped!)
It's the same on the live blu rays (BOH is on all 7 I have).. I want to hear more isolated bass! It's hard with metal.. so much going on, but I've heard him play fusion and the man is a monster.. Another first-strike weapon against RHCP/Flea!
I really really love Kami band. I would give my left foot to jam with them for 90 minutes (they'd throw me out, laughing politely)
