Sakura Gakuin held a new Sakura Gakuin Festival, this time at the Maihama Amphitheater in Chiba in front of 4.000 Fukei during the 2 Days festival. Sakura Gakuin Festival 2016 introducing new Sleepiece, Logica & Koubaibu!
Sakura Gakuin held "Sakura Gakuin Festival 2016" in Chiba at Maihama Amphitheater on November 12 and November 13. A total of 4.000 Fukei (Sakura Gakuin fan) attended to the 2 days.
The first day of performances started with the self-introduction song "Mezase! Super Lady" of the fiscal year 2016. The three "transferd students" who joined the group in May, Momoe Mori, Tsugumi Aritomo and Yuzumi Shintani showed their hearts with special appeals of each personality cheering up the venue. Then began "School Days" with Aiko Yamaide leading who said "Let's enjoy the Sakura Gakuin Festival!". After that "Hello IVY" on stage swinging pink color flags.
The theme of this day was: "Who are the new members of the Science Club and Go Home Club?". Each member of the Club introduced themselves respectively, while Sakura Gakuin's tutor Mori Hayashi made fun of them at the venue. The three girls Mirena Kurosawa, Maaya Asou and Kano Fujihira appeared during the intro of "Hashire Shoujiki Mono", the song that made the return of Sleepiece. Kano Fujihira who was chosen as the splendid new member danced energetically with her yellow pajamas while receiving great applause from the Fukei.
Following another extracurricular, performance, the Cooking Club Minipati showed "Sharanari Hanagari Dorayaki Hime" for first time for the current members. Then followed the Purchasing Club appearing in coats handing abacus up and down. Introduced by Soyoka Yoshida they performed "Piece de Check" with megaphones in one hand.
Finishing the event, Sakura performed this year's new song "Melodic Solfege", the Halloween song "Pumpkin Parade", "FLY AWAY" with powerful performance, and the newly recorded version of "Friends" at the end of the main part. At the encore, they sang "Mikansei Silhoutte" and "Kirameki No Kakera", closing the curtain of the first day performance.
At the second day performance. Started with familiar lines from Mirena Kurosawa from their first play performance "Shuoh Gakuen Gasshou-bu" which took place this summer. Before "Mezase! Super Lady 2016" start, Mori-Sensei interrupted, "Don't do it! The chairs of the school are line up on stage", and rushed into the room. The twelve in sailor uniform on stage discussed "Shuoh Gakuen Gasshou-bu". And then performed a parody version of "Shuoh Gakuen Gasshou-bu" reflecting their opinions and getting laughs from the venue.
Then just like the first day the members started with "Mezase! Super Lady", followed by "Makeru! Seishun Hizakozou", "Chime" and then "Melodic Solfege". In the part of Sub-units activity, following the Purchasing Club and Cooking Club sections appeared the Science Club "Logica?". The new in the organization Momoko Okazaki was newly crowned and then performed "Delta".
On the second day, Marin Hidaka won the actress award of the "Sakura Academy Best Actress Award is for?" as she said: "Seniors are in hurt now. Are you sure you want me around yet? Can I become a special presense?"
After that, "FLY AWAY", "Otomegokoro" and "Message" where shown as the venue dyed in cherry colors. The main part ends with "Marshmallow Iro No Kimi To". At the encore they delivered the debut song "Yumi Ni Mukatte" finishing the "Sakura Gakuin Festival" 2 Days.
