2016 has been a great year for BABYMETAL, for that reason here is the annual analysis of their incredible 2016 performing around the world. In the following report the most interesting facts about BABYMETAL Tour Dates in 2016 according to us. 

 

Another great year for BABYMETAL, another World Tour for them including their most extense tour in United States, an UK Tour supporting Red Hot Chili Peppers, collaborting live with Rob Halford of Judas Priest and also with Chad Smith of Red Hot Chili Peppers, playing covers of Judas Priest (Painkiller & Breaking The Law), playing in the Big 4 Festivals in Japan, just to name a few. Another great year for BABYMETAL playing live around the world is analyzed in numbers below. 

 

-BABYMETAL played 46 shows in 2016.

 

-Kami Band played 46 shows in 2016.

-BABYMETAL on February 18 played at NHK Broadcasting Center for NHK TV Station, Limited Edition show for THE ONE Members. 

 

-BABYMETAL on April 2 performed their first headline show at Wembley Arena in London in front of approximately 12.000 Fans. BABYMETAL became the first Japanese artist to headline Wembley Arena. This show started their third World Tour. (Show recorded to be released later this year)

 

-BABYMETAL on April 5 made their debut in US Tour performing at "The Late Show With Stephen Colbert".

 

-BABYMETAL on April 22 played at Music Station. Was their 4th appearance in this show. 

 

-BABYMETAL in May started their first nationwide US Tour. Took place in May and July of 2016.

 

-BABYMETAL played in 11 different Festivals this year.

-BABYMETAL held 9 Apocrypha Shows for THE ONE Members Project this year:

• NHK Limited Edition Show on February 18
• "Only The FOX GOD Knows" on April 20 and April 21
• "The White Mass" on August 8 and August 9, August 17 and August 18, August 24 and August 25. 

-BABYMETAL's show with most tickets sold outside Japan was at Wembley Arena in London England. Approximately 12.000 tickets. 

 

-BABYMETAL sold out all the tickets in all their headline shows in Japan including Tokyo Dome.

 

-BABYMETAL shared stage for very first time with Rob Halford of Judas Priest (Alternative Press Music Awards)

 

-BABYMETAL shared stage for very first time with Chad Smith of Red Hot Chili Peppers (The O2 Day 3 in London)
