Natalie: BABYMETAL "Five Fox Festival" gathers white face paint fans in Osaka

Natalie Music live report from BABYMETAL's last show of "Five Fox Festival in Japan" at Zepp Osaka Bayside on August 30. BABYMETAL played through this tour Black Festival, Red Festival, Gold Festival, Silver Festival and closed with White Festival. Check the report translated and photos below. 

 

BABYMETAL last live of "Five Fox Festival in Japan", live report by Natalie Music

BABYMETAL held the final performance of the nationwide live house tour "BABYMETAL Five Fox Festival in Japan" at Zepp Osaka Bayside on August 30. 

 

In this tour, BABYMETAL held male only "Black Festival", women only "Red Festival", teenagers only "Gold Festival", elders and school students "Silver Festival" while today performed "White Festival" with only people wearing corpse paint in Osaka. Fans who gathered featured originality in their corpse paitings. 

 

Following a video on the screens, the sound of the Kami Band appeared at the venue. When the curtain covering the stage was took off, BABYMETAL and Kami Band appeared. The three members started the live with "BABYMETAL Death". Then moved into "META! Taro" incorporating the Viking Metal in the second song, the cheers during "META!" and sing a long showed the sense of unity at the venue. 

 

Once the three girls left the stage, the Kami Band showed each skills. When BABYMETAL came again to the stage the audience go crazy showing off "Catch Me If You Can" with the "hide and seek" as motif. The Su-Metal sang her solo number "Amore" followed by Yuimetal and Moametal who sang "GJ!". The audience was fascinated. 

 

After the three were again together on stage to perform "Syncopation" which is a combination of Melodic Metal. Following "Megitsune" where Yuimetal and Moametal showed off smiles to Su-Metal who shared her pleasure of meeting the fans, "We are so happy to see you!". In a sprint continued with "Gimme Chocolate" and "Ijime, Dame, Zettai". The last song was "Road Of Resistance" where Su-Metal sang a long with the audience while Yuimetal and Moametal followed the big chorus. The three girls who performed 10 songs showed off a last Kitsune Sign and left the stage with "See you!"
